Recode, the popular tech blog, is now showing off its first-ever article series.
The company is debuting a series called “Leadderhouses Disease” that highlights some of the latest healthcare startups.
Leadderhos disease is a disease caused by a fungus, which can be fatal if not treated.
The symptoms include fever, chills, fatigue and a headache.
“We’re putting out a series to highlight startups that are tackling some of these problems,” said Matt Kullmann, senior product manager at Recode.
The series, which premieres Thursday, will be available on the Recode website, Recode mobile app, Recoders blog, and Recode TV app.
The goal is to highlight the companies who are making it possible to treat leadderhosis with the right tools.
For the first time, Recodes is also debuting the company’s blog, LeadderHouses, which is aimed at healthcare startups and their founders.
“It’s a place where we can be talking about these issues in a way that’s not necessarily news,” Kullmans said.
“A lot of the time you get stories about the CEO of a company or the CEO in the company who’s got a really amazing product.
You hear about a startup that is trying to make it so they can make the next billion dollars.”
The series also highlights some startups that have made strides in tackling leadderhat disease and are now working on developing drugs to control the fungus.
The first installment will be on Wednesday, Nov. 12, and will feature eight companies.
“I think we’re going to see a lot of these startups start to get a lot more attention because of the attention we’re getting,” Kollmann said.
